Trip to the Nazi Party Rally Grounds in Nuremberg

We cordially invite all international scholars, doctorate students and their relatives to this event!
On this day trip, we will explore the darkest period of German history. We will get an informative and well-depicted introduction to the time of the Nazi rule (1933-1945) inside the Documentation Centre. Having a walk over the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds we will have a look at the Nazis’ architecture, get explained how their propaganda shows worked and which plans they had for the future.
This day trip is a must for all those who would like to get to know German history a bit more. It will also help you to understand why some topics are particularly delicate and controversially discussed in German society and might also help you to understand the Germans’ national psyche, which until today is influenced by the events of this era.

Personal registration at the Welcome Centre: Wednesday, February 1st – Wednesday, February 8th
You find a detailed information on the trip here.
When: Saturday, February 11th
